بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم
To remove any minor illness recite Ṣalāt-ush-Shifā three times, Sūrat-ul-Fatiḥaĥ three times, the last four Āyāt of Sūrat-ul-Ḥashr three times, Sūrat-ul-Ikhlāṣ three times, Sūrat-ul-Falaq three times and Sūrat-un-Nās three times (recite Bismillāĥ Sharīf every time before reciting each Sūrah), followed by Ṣalāt-ush-Shifā three times at the end. Then blow on the afflicted person and blow on water for them to drink. Repeat this process thrice daily until the illness is cured.
For severe or incurable illnesses recite Sūrat-ul-Fatiḥaĥ forty-one times between the Sunnah and Farḍ of Fajr, i.e. after completing the Sunnah and before reading the Farḍ. Recite Sūrat-ul-Fatiḥaĥ in such a way that the Mīm of Bismillāĥ Sharīf is joined with the Lām of Al-ḥamdu lillāh, i.e: Bismillāhir-Raḥmānir-Raḥīmil-ḥamdu…..Āmīn. Recite Ṣalāt-ush-Shifā eleven times before beginning the recitation and eleven times at the end, then blow on a bottle of water. The afflicted person should drink this water throughout the day, when the level of the water reaches half, refill the bottle to the top. The next day, recite Sūrat-ul-Fatiḥaĥ on the water again in the same manner. Repeat this procedure and give the water to the afflicted person daily for forty-one, seventy or ninety days.
Another method is to recite the Du’ā of Shaykh Sirāj-ud-Dīn Al-Ḥalabī رحمة اللہ تعالی علیہ seventy times with Ṣalāt-ush-Shifā eleven times before and after, then blow on a bottle of water and give it to the afflicted person to drink. Repeat this for forty-one, seventy or ninety days. The Du’ā is as follows:
To remove pain from any part of the body place the right hand on the place of affliction and recite the following Du’ā seven times with Salawāt Sharīf three times before and after, then blow on the afflicted area and blow on the hand and wipe it over the afflicted area:
Or recite the following Du’ā five or seven times with Salawāt Sharīf three times before and after, then blow on the afflicted area and wipe the hand over it:
The Awrād must always be read without talking to anyone in between, talking during the recitation invalidates the Wird and it must be repeated from the beginning.
