As-Salaam alaikum, In Tasawwuf/Sufi terminology, al-baqa means subsistence in Allah while fully living in the world. The Sufi apply part of this fact as in that celebrated hadith-qudsi to al-baqa...
"Then when I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his hand with which he grasps, and his foot with which he walks.."
In the station of fana (annihilation), man cannot see anyone else but Allah. In baqa, he sees Him in everything. This is what Sayyadi Ibn Arabi, may Allah be Merciful to him, alludes to when he wrote: 'For the one who own this station, the Real (Allah) should be his hearing, his sight, his hand and his foot and all the abilities provided to him, so he behaves only by haqq, in haqq and for haqq.'
